2021 Phideaux Award Recipient

It is the club's special privilege and honor to recognize the 2021 Phideaux Award Recipients.

This year, the Phideaux Award committee has chosen members that you may have noticed working selflessly and quietly to keep the club operating smoothly and in great repair. They volunteer their time and expertise behind the scenes with no expectation of praise or reward. Their work pops up to surprise you with its thoughtfulness and cleverness – think new people and new devices. Two special friends and members whose selfless care for the good of SDTC is so appreciated and valued.

Phideaux Award Winner Jess Lawless
Phideaux Award Winner Sheryl Womble

Jess Lawless has taught and assisted in obedience and rally classes, has organized rally practices, and has been chief ring steward for rally at our trials. He is a problem solver, coming up with construction projects indoors and out, and fixing issues that arise in the building and on the grounds.

Sheryl Womble has taught and assisted numerous classes over her many years of membership, currently focusing on Rally. She is frequently a table steward at our obedience and rally trials. She handles membership applications and is a CGC evaluator.

Congratulations to the 2021 Phideaux Award recipients
