AKC Scent Work
AKC Scent Work is an exciting new titling sport in which dogs learn to locate specific scents and communicate to their handler the exact location of that scent. Similar to the work performed by detection dogs, our dogs learn to develop their natural scenting abilities while working as a partner with their handler.
Unlike many dog sports, Scent Work handlers are encouraged to communicate with and praise their dogs during the search.
