Individuals pay a fee to use stock at the different facilities. Everyone is expected to help each other at the practice sessions and to help at the herding trials. Occasionally the Inland Empire Collie Club (IECC) also holds American Herding Breed Association trials during the Summer. |

Our
members are happy to mentor others at several different facilities in
the Spokane area during the spring and summer. The Spokane

in early June, a herding seminar is sponsored by SDTC, IECC or an
individual in order to kick off the herding season.
SDTC holds three days of AKC Herding Trials (along with the Inland
Empire Collie Club) on Labor Day weekend at Glen Tana Farms just north
of Spokane.
