They work for conformation titles offered by the American Kennel Club (AKC). Each dog is judged based upon breed standards written by the parent club of each breed and approved by the AKC. For more information about purebred dogs or breed standards, contact the AKC at www.akc.org. Competition in the ring is fun to watch and you're always treated to magnificent examples of the breeds. |
