It is the club's special privilege and honor to recognize the 2007 Phideaux Award Recipient

Laurie Hanlon

This year's Phideaux Award recipient has owned several different breeds, including poodles.  Because of time and distance constraints, this person has not always had the opp0rtunity to take full advantage of SDTC's classes, but over the years has been involved in many different activities in SDTC including obedience, rally, agility, tracking, and CGC tests.  This person has assisted in classes, and has worked at obedience trials, agility trials, tracking tests, and matches, taking on varied responsibilities including ring steward, emergency coordinator, match judge, tracklayer, and provider of lodging for tracking judges.  Blessed with a strong sense of organization, this individual has also been a tracking test secretary and agility secretary multiple times.  After a couple of years of membership, this recipient volunteered as Fun Match chair for several years, and can't =seem to stay away from that job for very long.  Since 2001, this person has also been co-editor of K9 Tails, and truly brought the publication into the computer age, putting an end to our "cut and past" approach and taking full responsibility for layout, printing and mailing.
