Eeyore came from A.R.P.H. with his name already in place - what else was there to do but extend his full name to its logical conclusion. At the time he was rescued, he was in such a deep state of shock that the examining vet thought he was deaf. He started taking obedience classes after coming to live with Lynn - where he spent the first 2 weeks hiding in her basement.

He has the dubious honor of being the first dog she ever trained. Agility was just supposed to be for fun and to build confidence. He was so afraid of the teeter that even another dog going up it would send Eeyore running in fear, to the extent of jumping over a 6 foot fence to get away. It took almost a year to overcome that - but now agility is his favorite sport. He has his masters titles with the AKC and received a special recognition award for his agility accomplishments at the 1999 Australian Shepherd Club of America's National Specialty.

Eeyore is currently enjoying semi-retirement and plans to take up tracking this winter.
