Duke's owner Dennis, Co-Director of Training at Spokane Dog Training Club, describes Duke as a friendly sort. "He loves everyone and everyone loves him." Duke and Dennis are seasoned "couch potatoes" who simply love to enjoy life. Dennis writes:

"Duke is certified with Delta Society Pet Partners Animal Assisted Therapy program. He loves going to Nursing Homes and Adult Centers with his Delta handler Greg Renner, who also works with Hospice of Spokane."

Duke also loves to be a demo dog at the SDTC obedience classes where he exhibits his unique sense of humor. "He either shows off to see how jealous he can make me, or he acts like he's never seen an obedience class just to get a reaction. But we love him anyway, because he is just so cute!"
